Rental Market News Going Forward in 2021
Hi, this is Ashleigh Goodchild doing another quick update on the rental market because Christmas and Boxing day is over.
This week we have had about five people that have been wanting to move into rental properties. These property rental searchers have had the week off and are using that time to find suitable living arrangements.
A lot of people ask if the rental market busy or quiet over the Christmas break. This is generally a busy time as we had 5 people move into properties today. And tomorrow we will be having 48 registered viewings for just 12 properties. So yes, Christmas is a busy time for property rentals in South Perth and surrounding suburbs.
People are just using this time of the year and the annual leave that they’ve got off to look for a rental property. Predominantly the potential renters are singles or couples, not families.
This is a reason why we have listed a few new properties over the Christmas period as well. There are a lot of showings booked and we will be finding the best tenants for our landlords.
So that is my little weekly update for what is going on at the end of 2020.
